We begin our thrilling adventure in the Sacred Valley. After a 1 hour and 20-minute journey, we'll make our first stop at a restaurant for optional coffee or breakfast. Then we'll head towards Abra Malaga, the highest point of our journey at 4,350 meters above sea level, where we'll stop at the Carrizales viewpoint at 3,500 meters above sea level for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. From this point, we'll start the biking activity, descending for about 1 hour and 40 minutes until we reach the village of Huamanmarca, located at 1,400 meters above sea level and a distance of 35 km. During the bike ride, we'll cross small streams, so it's advisable to bring extra pants and socks. Next, we'll head to the village of Santa Maria, at 1,100 meters above sea level, where we'll enjoy lunch and engage in the rafting activity for approximately 1 hour, covering 30 km with rapids ranging from level 1 to 3. It's important to bring swimwear, sandals, and a personal towel. Afterward, we'll transfer for a 1-hour journey to the village of Santa Teresa, where we'll spend our first night and enjoy dinner. Here, we'll also find the beautiful Cocalmayo hot springs, located a 15-minute drive from Santa Teresa and open until 7:00 p.m. We'll have the option to visit them after dinner, with an additional cost for transportation and admission.
